30 Days of Thanksgiving, Day 2

My wonderful parents
I have been anxiously waiting for November to get here. Every day through the month of November, I want to post something I'm thankful for. We take so many things for granted and do not stop to think about how blessed we truly are. I will post some obvious things I'm thankful for, and some random, not so obvious things. Should be fun!

My Upbringing – While I had many disagreements with my parents growing up (and still do), I am grateful that I was raised in a Godly home with loving parents who not only showed their love toward me but the love between a man and a woman. I hope that I can convey that in my own marriage and family.

I encourage you to stop and think about something you are grateful and thankful for every day this month. It might put you in a better mood :)

Small Business Saturday 11/26

First there was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday.  Now, there's the 2nd annual Small Business Saturday, the day people support small businesses. Pledge to Shop Small on Nov 26th. If millions of Americans shop small, it will be huge.

American Express wants to help you make a difference. Get a one-time $25 statement credit when you register an eligible American Express® Card and use that Card for a purchase of $25 or more at a small business on November 26th. Registration is limited. Terms and Conditions apply.

Go "Like" them on Facebook to register your AMEX card, and also enter your zipcode to find local Small Businesses.

I'm WAY excited about this!  I already registered my card, and am ready to go shopping on the 26th!

No Yolks $.40 Printable Coupon + $.40 Upromise

There is a $.40 No Yolks coupon available to print. Take this to Tom Thumb or Albertsons where they will double that coupon to $.80. THEN - if you have a UPromise account, you can get an additional $.40 cash back in your account. If you are unfamiliar with UPromsie, read about it HERE. I've already earned several bucks by using their electronic coupons.

I believe the No Yolk Pasta bags run around $1.49. With the Printable Coupon (doubled to $.80) + the UPromise eCoupon ($.40), you can get the bag for ONLY $.29.

Keep in mind the electronic coupon does not come off your total, but rather adds up in your UPromise account. You can either request a check, pay down a loan, or start investing. It's an awesome deal.

I'm going to go check on the price at Albertsons later, but hurry and print your coupon before they are gone!

Google Calendar – My life has become much less complicated since I discovered Google Calendar. Now everything is documented and I never forget anything (hopefully). I even put our meal schedule on the calendar, so Brian knows what we’re having for dinner, and I know what I need to prepare.

I encourage you to stop and think about something you are grateful and thankful for every day this month. It might put you in a better mood :)
