Financial Update - October 2009

As you may remember, Brian and I have been following Dave Ramsey for a few months now. We have officially started our debt snowball, and are on our way to financial freedom. Go HERE to read September's update!

Baby Step #2 – Debt Snowball
Here are some of our goals:
Credit Card #1 – September 2009 - DONE
Credit Card #2 – December 2009 - We are set to have this done by November!
Car Loan – September 2010
Student Loans – March 2011

Last month we paid off CC #1. THIS month, we paid a HUGE chunk off CC #2. It felt SO great! You have NO idea. My husband said, "see...imagine what it will feel like when we get the car paid off...or a house!" Dave Ramsey says to celebrate when you have reached some of your goals - so Brian and I went to Chick-fil-A :) And YES we did have a coupon!

Because we were able to pay a big chunk this month, we are hoping to have CC #2 paid off by November - and by doing that we can even start paying off our car next month as well.
