I wanted to get Brian some more DayQuil/NyQuil before the new deals came out on Sunday. Right now, Walgreens has their Vicks products "Buy 2 for $10.00, get a $5.00 RR." So, $2.50 each after the RR.
Here is what I got at Walgreens:
Transaction #1:
Vaseline Lotion - $6.99, get $6.99 RR
Halloween Pen - $.25 w/ in-ad coupon (my filler item)
Coupons Used:
-$1.50 Vaseline coupon
-$5.00 RR
Paid $.80 (put on GC) - Got back $7.00 RR
Transaction #2:
Vicks DayQuil & NyQuil - $10.00
Coupons Used:
$7.00 RR from Transaction #1
(remember...you can't use RRs on a similar RR-producing deal. It won't produce RRs)
Paid $3.00 (put on GC) - Got back $5.00 RR
******************************************************
CVS (I did good on this one!)
Brach Candy - $.88
Neosporin Lip Treatment - $2.89
Digital Converter - $40.00 (these rang up $59.99, but I used my raincheck)
Oreo Cookies - $1.99
2 Sunflower Seeds - $.99 each
*Note: I had a $4 off $20 purchase coupon, and I saw CVS had their digital converters back in stock (which I had a raincheck AND a $40 coupon, making it free) SO...that means with the $4/$20 coupon, I could get $4.00 worth of items for free. So I got snack foods for the football game : )
Coupons Used:
-$4 off $20 CVS coupon that was emailed to me
-$3.00 Neosporin Lip coupon (adjusted down to $2.89)
-Used my $40.00 government coupon for the digital converter
Paid $.85 (put on GC)
I scanned my card at the coupon printer at the front of the store, and out popped a $1.00 ECB.
Grand Total Spent: $4.65
Coupons Remaining: $5.00 RR, $1.00 ECB
Total Profit: $1.35
